Overview
This regional tourism funding supports development, studies, events, digital projects and offer structuring in Montérégie, with non‑repayable contributions up to 130,000 $ plus possible eco‑bonuses in some categories. It targets innovative, sustainable tourism projects such as attractions, accommodations, festivals, consulting mandates and digital transformation that strengthen the regional offer and extend the tourist season.

- Regional offer structuring projects such as thematic routes, circuits and other initiatives that enhance the coherence of the tourism offer
- Projects that improve access to territories, intermodality and sustainable mobility for visitors
- Collaborative regional initiatives generating benefits for multiple tourism partners over a period exceeding three years
Documents Needed
- Duly completed and signed application form in Excel format
- Project plan or business plan, including expected deliverables and impacts
- Most recent financial statements for the last two years, where required
- Board resolution (or equivalent) authorizing the funding application
- Proof of OQLF compliance for organizations with 25+ employees, where applicable
Eligibility
- The applicant must be a legally constituted organization under Quebec or Canadian law and conduct business in Quebec.
- The applicant must belong to an admissible clientele (tourism business, non-profit, cooperative, municipal entity, Indigenous community or eligible association, depending on category).
- The proposed initiative must fit an eligible project type within the "Structuration de l’offre" category under the EPRTNT 2025‑2027 framework.
- Previous commitments toward program partners must have been respected for any earlier subsidies received.
- Tourism accommodation and nature/adventure operators must comply with applicable regulations, registration and, where required, Qualité‑Sécurité standards.
Who is eligible?
- Tourism businesses organized as for-profit entities
- Tourism non-profit organizations
- Tourism cooperatives
- Municipal entities and regional municipal organizations
- Recognized Indigenous communities, nations and Indigenous tourism enterprises
Who is not eligible
- Crown corporations and departments or agencies of the governments of Quebec and Canada
- Applicants listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts
- Enterprises not compliant with the francization process of the Office québécois de la langue française
Eligible expenses
- Professional and consulting fees, including project design, engineering, studies and project management
- Purchase, construction, adaptation, expansion, development and installation of equipment, infrastructure, specialized furniture and related works
- Salaries, benefits, general expenses and travel directly dedicated to project implementation
- Digital and technological solutions, software, applications, subscriptions and related training for development of the business’s digital capabilities
- Net taxes and reasonable contingencies linked to eligible project costs
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Acquisition of an existing business and its infrastructures
- Routine maintenance, asset upkeep, regulatory compliance and usual operating or administrative expenses
- Debt service, working capital, operating losses, capital buyback and financing costs
- Promotion, advertising and marketing costs (except where explicitly eligible for festivals and events)
- Transfers of assets, in‑kind contributions, non‑refundable taxes and costs contracted before submitting the application (with limited exceptions for certain preparatory fees)

- Alignment with the objectives of the EPRTNT 2025‑2027 and Tourisme Montérégie’s strategic orientations
- Structuring impact, regional reach and anticipated economic and tourism benefits
- Innovative character, quality of concept, products and services
- Financial soundness and realism of the project structure, including confirmed partners
- Feasibility, promoter’s capacity and integration of sustainable development and eco-responsible measures
How to apply
- Step 1: Complete pre-eligibility form
- Fill out the online pre-eligibility form available in the Aide financière section of the Tourisme Montérégie website.
- Indicate project category, description, estimated costs, clientele type and funding structure.
- Step 2: Receive application package
- If the project is deemed admissible at pre-eligibility, obtain the official EPRTNT 2025‑2027 financial assistance application form and related templates from Tourisme Montérégie.
- Step 3: Prepare full application
- Complete the EPRTNT financial assistance application form in Excel.
- Compile all required supporting documents (plans, financials, resolutions, attestations, etc.).
- Step 4: Submit application
- Send the completed application form and all required documents by email to eprtnt@monteregie.ca before the submission deadline.
Additional information
- A second call for projects runs from January 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. to March 20, 2026, at 4:59 p.m.
- The pre-eligibility form will be locked as of March 18, 2026.
- If required documents are missing at the submission deadline, the application is deemed incomplete and not admissible.
- Some projects may be subject to Quebec’s Policy for integrating art into architecture and the environment of public buildings and sites.
