Overview
This program offers non-repayable financial support of up to $32,500 to strengthen and structure the regional tourism offer in Mauricie. Funding targets collaborative, multi-partner initiatives such as regional routes, thematic products and mobility projects that generate lasting tourism benefits over more than three years.

Activities funded

Documents Needed
- Completed and signed application form submitted in Excel format
- Project plan detailing expected deliverables and three-year impacts
- Most recent two years of financial statements, where required
- Projected revenues and expenses covering the project duration
- Board resolution authorizing the funding application and signatory
Eligibility
- Be a legally constituted tourism-related organization doing business in Quebec.
- Belong to one of the eligible client groups such as for-profit, non-profit, cooperative, municipal or Indigenous tourism entities, or their groupings.
- Have fulfilled prior commitments related to any previous subsidy from the program partners.
- Respect applicable laws and regulations for tourist accommodation, including holding a valid registration number where relevant.
- For nature and adventure tourism, comply with or commit to the Qualité-Sécurité Aventure Écotourisme Québec accreditation process.

Who is not eligible
- Provincial or federal Crown corporations, ministries and government agencies.
- Applicants listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts.
- Enterprises not compliant with the Office québécois de la langue française francization process.
Eligible expenses
- Professional fees for specialized firms or consultants linked to the structuring project.
- Project-related salaries, benefits, general expenses and travel costs within public-sector rates.
- Purchase and installation of equipment required to structure or enhance the regional tourism offer.
- Net taxes (non-refunded portion) associated with eligible project costs.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Acquisition of motorized transport equipment not dedicated to visitor experience.
- Working capital, debt service, operating losses, capital losses and capital buybacks.
- Compliance upgrades, asset maintenance and regulatory conformity costs.
- Donations, in-kind or service contributions, asset transfers and usual operating or administration expenses.
- Promotion, advertising, marketing, legal fees, cost overruns and costs contracted before applying (except eligible project design fees).

- Alignment of the project with EPRTNT 2025-2027 objectives and regional priorities.
- Structuring impact, including attraction power, territorial reach, economic spin-offs and partner collaboration.
- Innovative character and quality of the concept, products and services.
- Financial structure and feasibility, including sound financing plan, realistic data and promoter expertise.
- Contribution to Mauricie’s attractiveness and integration of sustainable development principles.
How to apply
- Step 1: Review Program Guide
- Consult the EPRTNT 2025-2027 promoter guide and the specific guide for the "Structuring the regional tourism offer" category.
- Step 2: Prepare Application
- Develop the project plan, including expected deliverables and multi-year impacts.
- Compile all required financial and administrative documents listed for this category.
- Step 3: Complete Application Form
- Fill out the EPRTNT 25-27 Mauricie financial assistance request form in the appropriate Excel format for this category.
- Ensure the form is signed by the authorized representative.
- Step 4: Submit Application
- Email the completed Excel form and all required supporting documents to sbouchard@tourismemauricie.com.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are received according to scheduled calls for projects and checked for completeness.
- Tourisme Mauricie verifies admissibility, may request clarifications and analyzes project relevance and financial viability.
- A management committee reviews analyses and selects projects to recommend for funding.
- Selected applicants receive a formal announcement letter followed by signing of a subsidy agreement.
- The promoter must submit required documents for final payment once the project is completed within the allowed timeframe.
Additional information
- Projects must be completed within 24 months following the funding announcement.
- Subsidized projects are subject to public tender rules for construction contracts of $100,000 or more.
- Organizations with 25 or more employees for six months must provide an OQLF francization compliance attestation.
- Projects integrating concrete sustainable development measures are viewed more favorably during assessment.
