Who is eligible?
- Tourism enterprises, including for-profit organizations (OBL), non-profit organizations (OBNL) and cooperatives.
- Municipal entities.
- Recognized Indigenous communities and nations, as well as Indigenous tourism organizations and businesses.
- Any grouping of these eligible clienteles.
- Regional tourism associations (ATR), only for studies and consulting projects and for structuring the regional tourism offer, with financial partners for each project.
Who is not eligible
- State-owned corporations, and ministries and agencies of the Quebec and Canada governments.
- Any applicant listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts.
Eligible expenses
- Construction, reconstruction, expansion, development, adaptation, reconversion or replacement of infrastructures and equipment for new or enhanced tourist experiences.
- Acquisition and installation of specialized equipment, furniture, boats, rolling stock and workforce attraction or retention facilities, if not the main project cost.
- Professional fees for design, engineering, technical staff, project management, consulting and reporting, including preparatory studies and business or eco‑responsible development plans (up to two years prior).
- Development, layout and enhancement of land and trails, including land acquisition, servitudes, rights of way and related surveying, quality control and contingency costs.
- Taxes net of refunds and costs to integrate sustainable practices, climate adaptation measures and eligible public art integration.

- Quality of concept, products, services and financial structure, including robustness of the financing plan.
- Feasibility, market relevance, contribution to regional attractiveness and integration of sustainable development principles.
How to apply

- Step 2: Confirm project eligibility
- Complete the self-assessment form for the accommodation category.
- Adjust the project if needed based on eligibility results.
- Step 3: Prepare application dossier
- Fill in the EPRTNT 25-27 Mauricie financial assistance application form for accommodation (Excel).
- Compile all required supporting documents listed for the accommodation category.
- Step 4: Submit application
- Send the completed form and all required documents by email to sbouchard@tourismemauricie.com addressed to the financing advisor.
- Ensure submission before the deadline of the relevant call for projects.
Processing and Agreement
- Projects are submitted according to fixed calls for projects and received by Tourisme Mauricie.
- Tourisme Mauricie verifies project eligibility and may request clarifications from the promoter.
- Assigned analysts assess project relevance and financial viability and prepare recommendations for the management committee.
- The management committee selects projects, issues recommendations and a funding announcement letter is sent to the promoter.
- Selected projects are formalized through a subsidy agreement that sets payment conditions and obligations.
Additional information
- Projects must include concrete sustainable development measures with positive environmental, social and economic impacts.
- An incomplete file at the start of the analysis period will be postponed to the next call.
- Projects must be completed within 24 months of the funding announcement.
- A public call for tenders is required for construction contracts of $100,000 or more funded by this program.
