Documents Needed
- Completed and signed application form submitted in Excel format
- Full business plan for the project
- Financial statements for the last two years, if applicable
- Three-year financial forecasts or project revenue/expense document, depending on organization type
- Board or council resolution authorizing the funding application
- OQLF attestation of francization compliance, where required
- Written confirmation from financial partners, if available
- Proof of Qualité-Sécurité accreditation or related commitment for nature and adventure tourism businesses
- Indigenous status certificate, if applicable
Eligibility
- The applicant must be a legally constituted organization under Quebec or Canadian law doing business in Quebec.
- The organization must be a tourism enterprise, municipal entity, Indigenous community/nation, or a grouping of these clients.
- The project must take place in the Mauricie tourism region and target a significantly tourism-related clientele.
- The project must support the digital development of the enterprise through business solutions.
- The business plan must demonstrate the project’s financial viability and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

- For-profit tourism businesses
- Non-profit tourism organizations
- Tourism cooperatives
- Municipal entities
- Recognized Indigenous communities, nations and tourism organizations
- Groupings of the above eligible clients
Who is not eligible
- Crown corporations and departments or agencies of the Quebec and Canadian governments.
- Applicants listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts.
- Enterprises not compliant with the Office québécois de la langue française francization process when applicable.
Eligible expenses
- Professional fees for support and implementation of digital solutions
- Purchase of technological or other equipment required to use the solution
- First subscription (up to 24 months) to cloud services for the solution
- Purchase of software, applications, e-commerce tools and integrated management systems
- Project-specific travel, overhead, salaries, benefits and training/professional fees for staff involved in digital deployment
- Net taxes (non-reimbursed portion) related to eligible costs
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Regular salaries, operating and management expenses of the promoter
- Purchase or rental of land, buildings, installations and capital expenditures for equipment
- Bandwidth purchase, server room setup and recurrent operating fees of the business solution
- Working capital, debt service, operating losses, capital losses and capital buybacks
- Compliance, maintenance, upgrade costs and reimbursable portions of sales taxes
- Asset transfers, in-kind or service contributions and general operating/administration costs
- Financing fees, lobbyist remuneration and legal fees
- Costs incurred under contracts signed before the funding application (except project design fees)
- Promotion, advertising, marketing expenses and cost overruns

- Alignment of the project with EPRTNT 2025-2027 objectives and regional priorities.
- Structuring impact, including attractiveness, scope, economic benefits, partnerships and season extension.
- Innovative character and added value to the existing tourism offer.
- Quality of concept, products, services and financial structure, including promoter contribution and financial health.
- Project relevance, feasibility, consideration of sustainable development and contribution to Mauricie’s positioning as a distinctive destination.
How to apply

- Step 2: Check project eligibility
- Complete the category-specific self-evaluation form to confirm eligibility.
- Step 3: Prepare application package
- Fill out the financial assistance application form for the Mauricie EPRTNT 2025-2027 program.
- Compile all required supporting documents listed in the category guide.
- Step 4: Submit application
- Send the completed Excel application form and all required documents by email to sbouchard@tourismemauricie.com.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are received according to specific calls for projects with published deadlines.
- Tourisme Mauricie verifies project eligibility and may request clarifications from the promoter.
- Designated analysts assess project relevance and financial viability and prepare recommendations.
- The management committee reviews analyses and selects projects, then issues funding recommendations.
- Promoters receive a decision letter, and selected projects are formalized through a subsidy agreement.
Additional information
- Projects must be completed within 24 months following the funding announcement.
- Incomplete applications at the start of an analysis period are postponed to a later call.
- Projects are subject to public tender rules for construction contracts of $100,000 or more.
- Data provided in the business plan is shared only with analysts and the management committee.
