  • Duly completed and signed application form (Excel format)
  • Program or draft program of the upcoming event
  • Most recent event report, if available
  • Most recent financial statements, including revenue and expenses for the event
  • Forecast revenue and expense budget for the upcoming event
  • Written confirmations from financial partners, if available
  • Board resolution (or equivalent) authorizing the signatory to submit the application
  • OQLF attestation or certificate of francization compliance, where required
  • Proof of compliance or commitment to the Qualité-Sécurité d’Aventure Écotourisme Québec program, for nature and adventure tourism enterprises
  • Indigenous certificate or certification confirming Indigenous status of the organization, if applicable

Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Tourism businesses (for-profit organizations).
  • Tourism non-profit organizations.
  • Tourism cooperatives.
  • Municipal entities in the tourism sector.
  • Indigenous communities, nations, tourism organizations and enterprises, and groupings of these clients.

Who is not eligible

  • Crown corporations, ministries and agencies of the Governments of Quebec and Canada.
  • Applicants listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts.
  • Enterprises that are not compliant with the francization process of the Office québécois de la langue française.

Eligible expenses

  • Administration costs related to the supported edition or specific aspect of the event.
  • Programming expenses for activities included in the festival or event.
  • Promotion, marketing and communication costs.
  • Site and facilities management fees.
  • Costs of products intended for resale during the event.
  • Travel expenses within public sector rates, general expenses, salaries and benefits of promoter staff linked to the event.
  • Audited sponsorships in goods and services, up to 50% of total eligible costs.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Costs of activities not directly related to holding and organizing the event.
  • Capital expenditures tied to acquiring equipment (depreciation).
  • Working capital, debt service, operating losses, capital losses and capital buybacks.
  • Expenses for regulatory compliance, asset maintenance, upgrades to standards and routine maintenance.
  • Non-recoverable taxes where a refund is available, non-audited in-kind or service contributions, asset transfers, financing fees, lobbyist remuneration, cost overruns, legal fees and purchase of motorized transport not dedicated to visitor experience.

  • Tourism enterprises located in the Lanaudière region of Quebec.
  • Projects produced and held in Quebec.

Additional information

  • Applications must be submitted by email using the official form requested from Tourisme Lanaudière.
  • Projects that clearly integrate sustainable development and eco-responsible practices receive particular attention.
  • Organizations with 25 or more employees over 6 months must provide proof of compliance with the Quebec francization process.
  • For for-profit organizations receiving $100,000 or more and having over 100 employees, an employment equity program may be required.
