Who is eligible?

  • For-profit tourism enterprises.

  • Indigenous communities, nations, organizations and tourism enterprises.

Who is not eligible

  • Quebec and Canadian Crown corporations, ministries and public agencies.
  • Applicants listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts.
  • Enterprises not compliant with the francization process of the Office québécois de la langue française.

Eligible expenses

  • Project implementation costs, including construction, expansion, redevelopment, adaptation, reconstruction and new tourist experiences.
  • Professional fees for design, engineering, project management and project reporting.
  • Development and improvement of land, trails, equipment, furniture, boats and rolling stock.
  • Costs to integrate sustainable practices or improve climate resilience.
  • Contingency costs, net taxes and site surveying or quality control fees.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Acquisition of a business and its infrastructure.
  • Promotion, marketing and website redesign costs.
  • Working capital, debt service, operating losses and legal fees.
  • Routine maintenance, internal administration and financing costs.
  • Costs already started or completed before the application date.
