Lanaudière Tourism — EPRTNT 2025-2027 – Attractions and activities

• Completed and signed application form in Excel format.
• Project business plan, including required permits and authorizations.
• Most recent financial statements for the last two years, where applicable.
• Three-year projected financial statements after project completion, where applicable.
• Board resolution authorizing the application signatory.

Who is eligible?

• Tourism for-profit businesses.
• Non-profit organizations.
• Cooperatives.
• Municipal entities.
• Recognized Indigenous communities, nations, and tourism enterprises.

Who is not eligible

• Quebec and Canadian government departments, agencies, and Crown corporations.
• Applicants listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts.
• Businesses not compliant with francization requirements, where applicable.

Eligible expenses

• Project-related construction, reconstruction, expansion, adaptation, conversion, or replacement of infrastructure and equipment.
• Specialized equipment, furniture, boats, and rolling stock that improve the visitor experience or attraction capacity.
• Professional fees for design, engineering, consulting, project management, reporting, and preparatory studies or business plans.
• Land and trail development, landscaping, land acquisition, servitudes, and rights of way when required for the project.
• Sustainable development measures, climate adaptation actions, surveying, site quality control, net taxes, contingency costs, and artwork integration where applicable.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• Promotion and marketing costs, including website redesign.
• Acquisition of a business and its infrastructure.
• Land or building rentals, financing costs, operating losses, debt service, and legal fees.
• Maintenance, compliance, and other regular operating costs.
• Transfers of assets, donations, and in-kind or service contributions.

Eligible geographic areas

• Lanaudière, Quebec.

• Alignment with the program’s objectives.
• Structuring impact, including attraction power, regional benefits, partnerships, jobs, and season extension.
• Innovation, concept quality, and quality of products and services.
• Financial structure, relevance, feasibility, and sustainable development approach.
• Projects that strengthen or consolidate flagship tourism products are given special attention.

• Step 2: Prepare the application package
  • Complete the application form in Excel format.
  • Gather the required supporting documents.
• Step 3: Submit by email
  • Send the completed form and documents to aidefinanciere@lanaudiere.ca before the deadline.

• Projects must integrate concrete sustainable development measures with positive environmental, social and economic impacts.
• Projects may be subject to public tender requirements for construction contracts of $100,000 or more.
• Construction or expansion projects of $150,000 or more for public buildings or sites may be subject to Quebec’s Policy for integrating arts into architecture and the environment.
• Non-compliance with Quebec’s francization requirements can prevent the awarding of the contribution.
