This program provides up to $75,000 to support development, renewal and structuring of the tourism offer in Îles-de-la-Madeleine. - Construction, expansion, improvement and modernization of tourism attractions, activities, equipment and services.
- Consulting mandates and studies to improve business practices, workforce skills, customer service, digital needs and sustainable initiatives.
- Festivals and events held in Quebec that generate significant tourist traffic and animate the destination.
- Accommodation projects that structure a territory, address unit shortages, raise quality, extend operating seasons or add new services.
- Digital transformation projects to implement or enhance transactional, customer-experience and data-management solutions, as well as region-wide tourism structuring projects such as routes, circuits and thematic products.
Documents Needed
- Completed and signed EPRTNT 2025-2027 application form in Excel format.
- Project plan or business plan describing activities, deliverables and expected impacts.
- Financial statements for the last two years of the organization, where required.
- Projected revenues and expenses for the project duration or following project completion, where required.
- Board or council resolution authorizing the funding application and project commitments.
Eligibility
- Applicant must be legally constituted under Quebec or Canadian law and conduct business in Quebec.
- Applicant must be a tourism enterprise, cooperative, non-profit, municipal entity, Indigenous community or nation, or a grouping of these.
- Tourism accommodation operators must comply with applicable laws and hold a valid establishment registration number.
- Nature and adventure tourism enterprises must comply with or commit to the Aventure Écotourisme Québec Qualité-Sécurité program.
- Applicants must have fulfilled commitments related to any previous subsidies received under this framework.

- For-profit tourism enterprises.
- Non-profit tourism organizations.
- Tourism cooperatives.
- Municipal entities in the region.
- Indigenous communities, nations and Indigenous tourism enterprises.
Who is not eligible
- Quebec and Canadian state-owned corporations, ministries and government agencies.
- Applicants listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts.
- Enterprises not compliant with the francization process of the Office québécois de la langue française.
Eligible expenses
- Construction, expansion, renovation or improvement of tourism infrastructures, including development of new experiences.
- Purchase and installation of specialized equipment, furniture and other equipment necessary for structuring the tourism offer.
- Professional fees for consultants, specialists, engineering, design, project management and mandatory studies.
- Travel, salaries and benefits for personnel dedicated specifically to the approved project.
- Eligible taxes and reasonable contingencies directly related to project implementation.
Eligible geographic areas
- Projects located in the Îles-de-la-Madeleine region of Quebec.
Selection criteria
- Alignment of the project with EPRTNT 2025-2027 objectives.
- Structuring impact, including attractiveness, regional reach, spinoffs, partnerships and job creation.
- Innovative nature and quality of the concept, products and services.
- Financial structure and feasibility, including schedule, business plan and promoter expertise.
- Integration of sustainable development principles and consistency with the region’s tourism strategy.
How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare Project
- Define the tourism project, objectives, activities and expected impacts over at least three years where required.
- Gather financial data, forecasts and information on required permits and authorizations.
- Step 2: Complete Application Form
- Fill in the relevant EPRTNT 2025-2027 Excel application form for the appropriate category (e.g., attractions, studies, festivals, accommodation, digital, structuring).
- Ensure all sections are completed and the form is signed by the authorized representative.
- Step 3: Compile Required Documents
- Attach the required supporting documents, including financial statements, projections, resolutions and any attestations requested.
- Include confirmations from financial partners if available.
- Step 4: Submit Application
- Send the completed Excel form and all required documents by email to the address indicated (developpement@tourismeilesdelamadeleine.com).
- Respect the specified submission deadlines for each intake period.
Additional information
- Application deadlines are set for December 19, 2025, March 27, 2026, and November 6, 2026.
- Projects must integrate a responsible and sustainable tourism approach.
- Some categories require public calls for tenders for construction contracts of $100,000 or more.
- Certain projects may be subject to Quebec’s policy on integrating art into public buildings and sites.
