Gaspésie Tourism — EPRTNT 2025-2027 – Digital development of a business

• Completed and signed financial assistance application form in Excel format for the digital development category
• Complete business plan for the project
• Financial statements for the last two completed fiscal years (except for start-ups, municipal entities and Indigenous communities)
• Three-year financial forecasts following project completion, as applicable
• Board or council resolution authorizing the signatory and, for municipal or Indigenous entities, commitment to cover operating costs for five years

• The applicant must be a legally constituted tourism organization or enterprise doing business in Québec.
• The organization must be an OBL, OBNL, cooperative, municipal entity, Indigenous community, nation, or Indigenous tourism organization.
• The applicant must have fulfilled commitments linked to any previous subsidy from the partners.
• Tourist accommodation operators must comply with applicable laws and hold a valid registration number.
• Nature and adventure tourism businesses must comply with or commit to the Qualité-Sécurité accreditation standards.

Who is eligible?

• For-profit tourism enterprises (OBL)
• Non-profit tourism organizations (OBNL)
• Tourism cooperatives
• Municipal entities involved in tourism projects
• Indigenous communities, nations and Indigenous tourism organizations

Who is not eligible

• Crown corporations and provincial or federal ministries and agencies
• Applicants listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts
• Enterprises that are non-compliant with the francization process of the Office québécois de la langue française

Eligible expenses

• Professional fees for support and implementation of digital solutions
• Purchase of technological or other equipment required for the solution, including integrated management and e-commerce software
• Initial subscription (up to 24 months) to cloud services linked to the solution
• Project-specific travel, overhead, salaries and benefits tied directly to the digital project
• Professional fees for training or upskilling staff implementing the digital project, and net (non-rebated) taxes on eligible costs

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• Purchase or rental of land, buildings or facilities, and related capital assets
• Regular operating, management, administration and maintenance costs, including working capital and debt service
• Recurrent operating fees of the business solution, bandwidth costs and usual marketing, promotion or advertising expenses
• Costs contracted before submitting the application (except project design fees), cost overruns, financing fees and legal fees
• Non-digital capital projects, including construction-linked investments, server rooms, and development of video games or gaming infrastructures

Eligible geographic areas

• Tourism enterprises located in the Gaspésie region of Québec
• Projects carried out in Québec under the provincial EPRTNT 2025-2027 framework

• Alignment of the project with the objectives of the EPRTNT 2025-2027.
• Structuring impact, including attractiveness, reach, economic benefits, partnerships and job creation.
• Innovative character and quality of the concept, products and services.
• Sound financial structure and relevance to target tourist clientele, markets and competitive context.
• Feasibility based on schedule, business plan and promoter expertise, including integration of sustainable development principles.

  • Discuss your project to confirm its admissibility before preparing the full application.
• Step 3: Prepare application form
  • Complete the official Excel application form for the digital development category.
  • Verify that all sections are filled out accurately.
• Step 4: Compile required documents
  • Gather all mandatory documents listed in the promoter’s guide for this category.
  • Ensure financial, legal and supporting documents are current and complete.
• Step 5: Submit online application
  • Submit the completed Excel form and all required documents via the online submission form on Tourisme Gaspésie’s platform.
  • Respect the published intake deadlines or continuous submission period.

• Projects may be submitted on an ongoing basis until the stated deadlines.
• Complete applications are assessed based on the EPRTNT 25‑27 criteria and regional objectives.
• Incomplete applications are processed only after all required documents have been received.
• Incomplete applications as of the deadline are carried forward to the next evaluation period.
• A financial assistance agreement must be signed between the project promoter and the managing ATR before any payment is made.

• Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until November 25, 2026 at noon or until funds are exhausted.
• Incomplete applications are only reviewed once all required documents are received and may be deferred to the next intake date.
• Projects must take into account, where applicable, accessibility for persons with reduced mobility.
• Support is provided jointly by Tourisme Gaspésie and the Québec Ministry of Tourism under the EPRTNT 2025-2027 agreement.
