- Consolidation, establishment, expansion or modernization of attractions, equipment, activities or tourism services
Documents Needed
- Completed and signed application form in Excel format
- Detailed business plan for the project, including required permits and authorizations
- Financial statements for the last two years, where applicable
- Three-year financial forecasts following project completion, where applicable
- Board or council resolution authorizing the funding application and signatory
Eligibility
- Be a legally constituted organization under Quebec or Canadian law doing business in Quebec
- Belong to one of the following: for-profit organization, non-profit organization, cooperative, municipal entity, Indigenous community, Indigenous tourism organization, or a grouping of these clients
- Be in compliance, where applicable, with previous funding commitments to program partners
- Tourist accommodation operators must comply with applicable laws and hold a valid registration number
- Nature and adventure tourism businesses must meet or commit to meeting Aventure Écotourisme Québec Qualité-Sécurité standards

- Tourism cooperatives
- Municipal entities in the Gaspésie region
- Indigenous communities, nations, tourism organizations and groupings of eligible clients
Who is not eligible
- Crown corporations and ministries or agencies of the Quebec and Canadian governments
- Applicants listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts
- Enterprises not compliant with the Office québécois de la langue française francization process
Eligible expenses
- Construction, expansion, adaptation, reconstruction, redevelopment or replacement of infrastructures and equipment, including deployment of new tourism experiences
- Purchase and installation of specialized equipment and furniture, including boats and rolling stock dedicated to enhancing visitor experience
- Professional, technical and consulting fees for design, engineering, project management, preliminary studies, business plans and reporting
- Costs for land acquisition, servitudes, rights of way and related fees when required for the project, excluding transactions with related companies
- Expenses for sustainable practices, climate adaptation measures, site and trail development, quality control, surveying, eligible taxes, contingencies (up to 15%) and integration of artworks to buildings or sites
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Acquisition of a business and its infrastructures
- Promotion and marketing costs, including website redesign
- Administrative, storage or retail-related equipment and materials
- Operating, maintenance, working capital, debt service and financing costs
- Legal fees, cost overruns, routine operating expenses and any costs contracted before application submission (except eligible project development fees)

- Structural impact, including attraction power, regional benefits, partnerships and job creation
- Level of innovation and quality of concepts, products and services

- Project feasibility, including schedule, business plan quality, promoter expertise and integration of sustainable development and accessibility measures

- Step 1: Validate Eligibility

- Schedule a meeting with the business support coordination team.
- Step 2: Prepare Application
- Complete the EPRTNT 2025–2027 Gaspésie region financial aid form in Excel.
- Gather all required supporting documents listed by the program.
- Step 3: Submit Application
- Upload the completed form and all required documents on the Tourisme Gaspésie member-space platform at tourismegaspesie-espacemembre.com/financement.
- Ensure all mandatory fields and attachments are provided before final submission.
Additional information
- The financial contribution provided under this program is non-repayable.
- Projects receiving $100,000 or more and involving over 100 employees may need to implement an equal access employment program.
- Organizations with 25 or more employees over six months must provide proof of compliance with Quebec’s francization requirements.
- Certain construction projects of $150,000 or more may be subject to Quebec’s policy on integrating art into public buildings and sites.
