- Non-profit organizations owning social or community housing
- Cooperative housing organizations
- Organizations that have previously received funding under the AccèsLogis Québec (ACL), Logement abordable Québec (LAQ), or Programme d’achat-rénovation pour la réalisation de logements coopératifs et sans but lucratif (PARCO)
Who is not eligible
- Organizations that have not previously received financial assistance under the AccèsLogis Québec (ACL), Logement abordable Québec (LAQ), or Programme d’achat-rénovation pour la réalisation de logements coopératifs et sans but lucratif (PARCO) for the building(s) in question.
- Companies that do not own, or have not acquired, eligible buildings through authorized transfer or merger with a previously assisted organization under the specified programs.
- Interventions solely focused on adding new housing units to existing buildings are not eligible, though this restricts projects rather than organizations per se.
Eligible expenses
- Works identified in the building condition assessment (BSI).
- Integration of components that improve energy efficiency, performance, and durability of the building elements.
- Addition of new amenities or equipment to the building(s).
- Refinancing of debts and expenses related to financial restructuring due to major renovation work supported by the SHQ or operating deficits resulting from unavoidable expenses.
