Overview
The International Climate Cooperation Program (ICCP) offers up to $34.5 million to support projects led by Quebec organizations that address climate change mitigation and adaptation in vulnerable Francophone countries in Africa and the Caribbean. Eligible activities include strengthening local governance, advancing research and clean technologies, and fostering low-carbon, climate-resilient economic development.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a Quebec-based business, non-profit organization, or post-secondary research or educational institution.
- The project must be implemented in one or more targeted francophone countries in Africa or the Antilles.
- The project must be carried out in collaboration with one or more local partner organizations from the targeted country or under their leadership.
- The project must focus on climate change adaptation or mitigation through governance, research, clean technology, or low-carbon local economic development.
- The project must contribute to innovative initiatives that address local needs and align with the program's objectives.

Gather application documents
- Gather required documents and project information for the application

- The International Climate Cooperation Program (ICCP) is financed through the Fonds d’électrification et de changements climatiques (FECC).
- The program supports projects located specifically in French-speaking countries within Africa and the Antilles.
- The ICCP is part of Québec's Plan pour une économie verte 2030 (PEV 2030), specifically under action S2-090.
- The program has received recognition, including the United Nations Climate Action Award in 2019.
