Who is eligible?
- Tourism enterprises, including OBLs, OBNLs, cooperatives, and groupings of these.
- Organizations that are members of Tourisme Charlevoix.
- Organizations engaged in a certification process or already certified by an approved sustainability certification.
Eligible expenses
- Professional fees of specialized firms or consultants for specific studies.
- Costs to purchase and install equipment or infrastructure in the program's intervention areas.
- The non-recoverable portion of applicable taxes and the contingency on eligible costs.
- Equipment rental, when deemed eligible, up to 24 months and only once for the same project.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Costs related to certification membership or renewal.
- General operating costs not directly linked to the project, including regular staff wages for routine activities, promotion and marketing, and administrative fees.
- Acquisition of a business and its infrastructures, administrative equipment, storage space, retail space, or emphyteutic land or building leases.
- Working capital, debt service, operating losses, capital losses, capital buyback, compliance upgrades, routine maintenance, repairs, wear and tear, and greenhouse gas compensation expenses.
- Costs incurred before the application submission date.

- Project impact and scope, including the number of measures or solutions implemented, expected business results, and positive effects on the community, especially local sourcing.
- Quality of the application file, including completeness, clarity, and the strength of supporting evidence.
