Entente de partenariat régional et de transformation numérique en tourisme 2025-2027 offers non-repayable support of up to $35,000 per year or edition to tourism businesses, municipal entities and Indigenous tourism stakeholders in the Eastern Townships.   • Organization and delivery of a festival or event judged regionally relevant and capable of attracting significant visitor traffic
  • Support for a specific component of a festival or event aimed at its development and growth
  • Tourist festivals and events produced and held in Quebec, organized around a theme and activity program that attracts significant visitor traffic

Documents Needed

  • Completed and signed application form in Excel format
  • Programming or draft programming of the upcoming event; most recent event report, if available; forecast income-expense statement for the upcoming event
  • Most recent financial statements, including a revenue and expense statement for the event for municipal entities and Indigenous communities
  • Board resolution authorizing the signatory; financial partner confirmations and support letters from local food and tourism suppliers, if available
  • OQLF attestation or certification if applicable; proof of Qualité-Sécurité d’Aventure Écotourisme Québec compliance or commitment for nature and adventure tourism businesses; Indigenous certificate or certification if applicable

  • Tourism enterprises: for-profit organizations, non-profit organizations and cooperatives
  • Municipal entities
  • Recognized Indigenous communities and nations, as well as Indigenous tourism enterprises
  • Groupings of these clientèles

Who is not eligible

  • Crown corporations and ministries or agencies of the governments of Quebec and Canada
  • Applicants listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts
  • Enterprises not compliant with the francization process of the Office québécois de la langue française

  • Programming costs
  • Promotion, marketing and communication costs
  • Site and facilities management expenses
  • Products for resale, travel expenses within public service rates, general expenses, salaries and social benefits linked to the event, and audited in-kind sponsorships of goods and services up to 50% of total eligible costs

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Costs of activities not related to holding and organizing the event
  • Capital costs for acquiring equipment, including depreciation
  • Working capital, debt service, operating losses, capital losses and capital buyback
  • Costs related to compliance upgrades, asset maintenance and regulatory conformity
  • Non-recoverable QST and GST portions and other reimbursable costs; non-audited donations and in-kind or service contributions; asset transfers; routine maintenance; financing fees; lobbyist remuneration; cost overruns; legal fees; and acquisition of motorized transport equipment not dedicated to the visitor experience

  • Alignment with the program objectives, including innovation, sustainable development and digital transformation
  • Structuring impact, including destination appeal, tangible benefits, partnerships, local, regional or sectoral reach, seasonality, data protection and cybersecurity, and capacity and productivity
  • Strategic relevance, including key products, key niches, market size and competition, offer positioning and marketing strategy
  • Strategic management and feasibility, including governance, business process structuring, human and organizational resources, promoter expertise and experience, financial resources, schedule, operations and application quality

  • Complete the EPRTNT financial assistance pre-admissibility form available online
  • Tourisme Cantons-de-l’Est validates the form and sends the adapted financial assistance application form by email
  • Complete the application form in Excel format and send it with the required documents to eprtnt@atrce.com

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are analyzed over several months after the call for projects
  • Official letters announcing support or refusal are issued after the analysis period on the dates indicated by the program
  • Incomplete applications are automatically rejected
  • For approved projects, required confirmations such as other financing or authorizations must be provided within six months to sign the financial assistance agreement
