How to apply

  • Register using the Register button at the bottom of the page.
  • Submit an expression of interest (EOI) form.
  • Work with project partners to complete and submit the International Consortium Project Proposal (ICPP) package, including the proposal and draft international consortium agreement.
  • Complete the national funding body proposal phase and sign legally binding funding agreements with the respective national funding body.

Processing and Agreement

  • NRC IRAP reviews registrations and may contact applicants if more information is required.
  • EOIs are evaluated by the applicant's NRC IRAP representative and the NRC IRAP International Office.
  • ICPP applications are evaluated by an NRC IRAP evaluation team including the applicant's NRC IRAP representative and the NRC IRAP International Office.
  • Applications are evaluated independently by each national funding body, followed by a final joint project selection.
  • Selected Canadian participants proceed to the final national funding body proposal and funding agreement stage.
