Who is eligible?
- Organizations from Canada and India that wish to form project consortia.
- Incorporated Canadian small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
- Eligible Indian commercial for-profit companies under the Indian Companies Act 1956/2013 that operate and are headquartered in India and are at least 51% owned by Indian citizens.
How to apply
- Canadian applicants must register electronically by using the Register button and completing the online registration form.
- Canadian applicants must submit an expression of interest form during the expression of interest phase.
- All project partners must work together to complete and submit an International Consortium Project Proposal package to each implicated national funding body.
- Eligible project partners must complete funding proposals and sign legally binding funding agreements with their respective national funding body.
Processing and Agreement
- NRC IRAP will review registrations and contact applicants if more information is required.
- Qualifying applicants will be invited to submit an expression of interest form.
- The applicant’s NRC IRAP representative and the NRC IRAP International Office will review applications.
- NRC IRAP will evaluate Canadian ICPP applications, and the amalgamated evaluation results will be shared between all implicated national funding bodies to jointly select the collaborative projects.
- Eligible project partners will work independently to complete funding proposals and sign legally binding funding agreements with their respective national funding body.
