Who is eligible?
- Organizations from Canada and China that wish to carry out joint R&D projects.
- Incorporated Canadian small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
- Eligible Chinese project participants.
- Canadian SME applicants must be registered as NRC IRAP clients to be considered for funding through this call.

How to apply
- Canadian applicants must register by clicking the REGISTER button and entering basic information about their organization.
- Work with an NRC IRAP representative to prepare and submit the Expression of Interest form.
- All project partners must jointly complete the International Consortium Project Proposal and submit the application package to all implicated National Funding Bodies.
- Eligible participants in conditionally selected projects must complete National Funding Body Proposals and Funding Agreements.
Processing and Agreement
- All project participants must submit all required proposal application documents to their respective National Funding Body.
- Each National Funding Body carries out independent evaluations of each application under its national and institutional laws and regulations.
- A proposal is selected only if all implicated National Funding Bodies jointly decide to approve and fund the project.
- If any project partner fails a National Funding Body due diligence process, the project as a whole is halted.
- Projects selected for funding are conditionally selected until each participant has successfully completed its National Funding Body Proposal and Funding Agreement.
