Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are first reviewed by CALQ program staff for admissibility and program objectives.
  • Eligible applications are then submitted to a committee for merit review and recommendations.
  • The CALQ board makes the final funding decision.

  • Approved applicants receive an announcement and agreement letter; refusals are communicated in writing when applicable.

  • Applications must be submitted at least three months before the project start date.
  • The official submission date is determined by the date of online transmission or WeTransfer submission.
  • An applicant cannot have more than eight projects being analyzed, supported, underway, or recently completed (within three months) without submitted and approved final reports.
  • All supporting documents must be included at the time of application; additional documents submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
