Selection criteria
- Applications are assessed by a peer assessment committee. Artistic criterion: 40%, minimum score 25/40, based on the clarity of the artistic vision and approach, the artistic quality, and the artistic relevance of the project.
- Impact criterion: 40%, minimum score 25/40, based on the potential to enhance public appreciation of the arts in Canada and build a diverse public, including underserved and marginalized communities.
- Feasibility criterion: 20%, minimum score 10/20, based on the experience and capacity of you and your partners, and a detailed budget showing other revenue sources, fair payment to participants, and efficient use of resources.
- Respectful and ethical cultural and artistic practices (RECAP): the application must satisfy this criterion; proper attention must be paid to First Nations, Inuit or Métis cultural protocols, and cultural materials must be treated respectfully, or there must be no Indigenous content in the activities.
How to apply
