Overview

The Arts Across Canada — Circulation and Touring component provides funding covering up to 50% of eligible costs, to a maximum of $200,000, to support the national circulation and touring of Canadian artists, exhibitions and artistic works. Eligible activities include tours and exhibition presentations of Canadian work to at least three Canadian destinations (or fewer with a strong market development or outreach rationale), cross‑border Canada/United States tours with most events in Canada, and art exhibitions travelling to multiple provinces or territories.

  • Costs tied to self-presentation, circulation or touring to fewer than three Canadian destinations when supported by a strong market development rationale or outreach strategy.

  • Artists, groups and arts organizations from Canada.
  • Touring or circulation activities taking place at Canadian destinations located at least 250 km from the point of departure within Canada.
  • Cross-border tours between Canada and the United States, where the majority of events occur in Canada.
