- Digital transformation of a tourism business to improve organizational efficiency and performance.
- Acquisition and implementation of digital solutions related to transactions, customer experience, data and revenue management, including adaptation, optimization or diversification of existing tools and interconnection between solutions.
Documents Needed
- Completed and signed application form submitted in Excel format
- Comprehensive project plan with description, objectives, detailed budget, implementation schedule and expected impacts
- Two professional service offers (quotations)
- Most recent financial statements for the last two years, where required
- Board resolution or equivalent authorizing the funding application
Eligibility
- Be a tourism business, municipal entity, Indigenous community/nation or a grouping of these clienteles.
- Be legally constituted under Quebec or Canadian law and conduct business in Quebec.
- For tourism accommodation, comply with applicable laws and regulations and hold a valid registration number.
- For nature and adventure tourism, comply with or commit to comply with the Aventure Écotourisme Québec Qualité-Sécurité accreditation standards.
- Have fulfilled commitments related to any previous subsidy granted by the partners, where applicable.

- For‑profit tourism organizations.
- Non‑profit tourism organizations.
- Tourism cooperatives.
- Municipal entities.
- Indigenous communities, nations and Indigenous tourism businesses.
Who is not eligible
- Crown corporations and departments or agencies of the governments of Quebec and Canada.
- Applicants listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts.
- Businesses not compliant with the francization process of the Office québécois de la langue française.
Eligible expenses
- Professional fees for support and implementation of proposed digital solutions.
- Purchase of technological or other equipment required to use the solution.
- First subscription (up to 24 months) to cloud services related to the solution.
- Purchase of hardware, software, mobile apps, integrated management software and e‑commerce software to enhance client interaction and management.
- Project-specific travel costs, overhead, salaries, benefits and professional training or upskilling fees tied to digital development, plus non‑refundable portion of applicable taxes.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Current salaries, operating and management expenses of the promoter.
- Purchase or rental of land, buildings, facilities and related capital expenditures for equipment.
- Purchase of bandwidth, sales commissions on online platforms and recurring operating fees of the business solution.
- Working capital, debt service, operating or capital losses, recapitalization and costs linked to regulatory compliance, asset maintenance or upgrades.
- Transfer of assets, in‑kind or service contributions, usual maintenance, financing costs, lobbyist remuneration, pre‑commitment costs (except project design fees), promotion/marketing, cost overruns and legal fees.
Eligible geographic areas
- Tourism businesses established and carrying out the project in the Abitibi‑Témiscamingue region of Quebec.
Selection criteria
- Alignment with the objectives of the 2025‑2027 EPRTNT agreement.
- Structural impact, including attractiveness, reach, benefits, partnerships, job creation and season extension.
- Innovative nature and quality of the concept, products and services.
- Sound financial structure and project financing plan.
- Project relevance, feasibility and consideration of sustainable development principles.
How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare Project Documentation
- Develop a complete project plan describing objectives, detailed budget, implementation schedule and expected impacts.
- Obtain two professional service offers and gather required financial and governance documents.
- Step 2: Complete Application Form
- Fill out the EPRTNT 2025‑2027 Abitibi‑Témiscamingue funding application form in Excel format.
- Ensure the form is duly completed and signed by the authorized representative.
- Step 3: Submit Application
- Email the completed Excel form and all required supporting documents to the specified address: eprtnt@atrat.org.
- Submit the application before the published intake deadlines.
Additional information
- Projects must be carried out in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region and the applicant tourism business must be established there.
- Projects are assessed on their overall sustainable development approach.
- Specific obligations may apply regarding equal access programs for for‑profit organizations receiving $100,000 or more and employing over 100 people.
- Upcoming application deadlines are November 18, 2025 at 3 p.m. and October 13, 2026 at 3 p.m.
