Documents Needed
- Completed and signed financial assistance application form (Excel format)
- Complete business plan for the project, including required permits and authorizations
- Financial statements for the last two fiscal years, where applicable
- Three-year financial forecasts following project completion, or equivalent project income and expense document
- Board or council resolution authorizing the signatory, plus required attestations (OQLF, cultural or Indigenous certificates, partner confirmations, where applicable)
Eligibility
- The applicant must be a legally constituted organization under Quebec or Canadian law doing business in Quebec.
- Eligible applicants include for-profit and non-profit tourism organizations, cooperatives, municipal entities, Indigenous communities and nations, and their tourism enterprises.
- Tourist accommodation operators must comply with applicable laws and regulations and hold a valid registration number.
- Nature and adventure tourism businesses must comply with, or commit to comply with, the Qualité-Sécurité program of Aventure Écotourisme Québec.
- Applicants must have fulfilled commitments related to any previous funding received from the partners.

- Recognized Indigenous communities, nations and Indigenous tourism enterprises
Who is not eligible
- Provincial and federal Crown corporations, ministries and government agencies
- Applicants listed on the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts
- Businesses not compliant with the francization process of the Office québécois de la langue française
Eligible expenses
- Construction, reconstruction, expansion, adaptation, conversion, development and replacement of infrastructures or equipment, including deployment of new tourism experiences
- Construction and equipment acquisition improving visitor appeal and workforce retention (e.g., employee lodging)
- Professional, technical, consulting and project management fees, including studies, business plans and eco-responsible development plans
- Costs related to land and trail development, specialized equipment and furniture, boats and rolling stock enhancing the visitor experience, and necessary land or rights acquisition
- Costs for integrating sustainable practices and climate adaptation, surveying, quality control, net taxes, contingencies (up to 15%), and eligible art integration under the provincial policy

- Consideration of sustainable development principles and relevance to tourism markets and clientele

- Step 1: Prepare Application
- Complete the EPRTNT 2025-2027 financial assistance application form for the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region in Excel format.
- Gather all required supporting documents listed in the program guidelines.
- Step 2: Submit Application
- Send the completed form and all required documents by email to the specified program address (eprtnt@atrat.org).
- Ensure submission before the stated deadlines and times.

Additional information
- The financial assistance is a non-repayable contribution.
- Projects receiving $100,000 or more and involving over 100 employees may trigger equal access program obligations for for-profit organizations.
- Construction contracts of $100,000 or more require a public call for tenders.
- Application deadlines include November 18, 2025, and October 13, 2026, at 3 p.m.
