Funding of up to $500 supports innovative school programs and initiatives that enhance experiences and opportunities for specific learners or school communities. Eligible activities include school-led projects aligned with the Thames Valley Education Foundation’s funding priorities that are not funded by the Ontario Ministry of Education.

Eligibility
- The request must be submitted by a school Principal.
- The proposed program, project, or initiative must enhance experiences and opportunities for specific learners or school communities.
- The initiative must align with one or more Thames Valley Education Foundation funding priorities.
- The initiative must not be funded by the Ontario Ministry of Education.

How to apply
- Step 1: Confirm school readiness
- Confirm the initiative reflects a school-specific priority.
- Confirm the initiative is not funded by the Ontario Ministry of Education.
- Confirm alignment with one or more Thames Valley Education Foundation funding priorities.
- Step 2: Prepare submission for principal sign-off
- Compile the project or initiative description focused on the targeted learners or school community.
- Provide key details needed for the Principal to submit the request.
- Step 3: Submit request
- Have the school Principal submit the request (as required for Caring Fund requests).
Processing and Agreement

- The fund supports school-led priorities and unique needs.
- Projects must not be funded by the Ontario Ministry of Education.
