Overview
The Energy Performance Program (EPP) offers pay-for-performance incentives for electricity savings (up to $0.15/kWh in summer peak hours and $0.04/kWh in non-summer peak hours) to help eligible Ontario commercial, institutional, and industrial facility owners/operators reduce operating costs and improve productivity. Funding supports behavioural, operational, and capital/non-capital energy-efficiency measures by rewarding verified whole-building electricity savings against a baseline energy model over a three-year participation period (applications approved by December 31, 2027).
