  • Third-party services for new product development, marketing, and sales development
  • Tradeshow fees, booth costs, and related travel for employees
  • Travel, meals, and accommodation for buyer meetings
  • Product demonstration fees
  • Third-party brand development, campaign, and promotional material services

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Costs incurred before approval or after project completion
  • Routine business operating expenses and staff salaries
  • Packaging, labels, equipment, website hosting, and other non-eligible support costs
  • Activities done in-house instead of by a third-party vendor
  • Projects or activities not listed as eligible under the program

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed after the intake period closes
  • The ministry checks eligibility and merit criteria
  • Applicants are notified by email of the decision
  • Approved applicants receive an approval letter to sign
  • Approved applicants must register for Ontario transfer payments and submit final reimbursement and report
