Who is eligible?
- Agricultural businesses.
- Artisanal food processing businesses.
- Emerging agricultural businesses.
- Groups of three to ten eligible businesses.

- Government departments, budgetary bodies, Crown corporations, and municipal entities.
- Financial cooperatives and banking institutions.
- Applicants unable to meet French language requirements or listed as non-compliant with francization rules.
- Applicants registered in RENA or under a ministerial or court order related to animal welfare and safety.
- Applicants in default on obligations related to prior financial assistance from the ministry.
Eligible expenses
- Professional fees for advisory services.
- Professional fees related to interprofessional meetings or strategic initiatives.
- Travel time fees for consultants.
- Eligible travel, lodging, and meal expenses for consultants.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Services related to recreational cannabis or products not approved by Health Canada.
- Services linked to additional cannabis products such as food ingredients, processed foods, topical products, concentrates, tinctures, and capsules.
- Subscription fees and administration fees.
- Plans and specifications services, and agro-environmental fertilization or recycling plans, including soil sampling.
- Costs not directly related to the project, cost overruns, and GST/QST reimbursements.

Processing and Agreement
- Complete applications are reviewed by Agriconseils or by the ministry, depending on the component.
- Applications are assessed against program fit, feasibility, quality, results, and cost criteria.
- The applicant receives a written decision by mail or email.
- If approved, a funding agreement or confirmation is issued before payment.
- Payments are made after the service is delivered and supporting documents are accepted.
