Eligibility
Who is eligible?
The program is open to various groups in Nova Scotia, including business owners and managers, current employees, and job seekers. Business owners and managers can use the platform to assign and track training for their employees. Current employees have the option to complete training as assigned or proactively enhance their skills. Job seekers can add skills and credentials to their resumes, thereby increasing their competitiveness in the job market. Additionally, individuals or businesses that are members of one of Nova Scotia’s Industry Sector Councils can access specialized training through the Association of Industry Sector Councils.
Who is not eligible
Some types of companies may not be eligible for this grant:
- Companies not registered in Nova Scotia
- Companies operating outside of the specified sectors
- Companies with a history of non-compliance with government regulations
