  • Project-related labour costs
  • Purchase of equipment directly linked to the project

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Costs incurred before the acknowledgement of receipt, unless otherwise allowed
  • Automatic return machines or other collection/recovery equipment
  • Land purchases and related costs
  • Rolling stock, handling equipment, office, communication, legal, and accounting costs
  • Projects mainly outside Quebec or not focused on beverage containers

  • Applications were first acknowledged by email within five business days.
  • RECYC-QUÉBEC then completed an initial review and confirmed admissibility within 20 business days.
  • Only admissible projects moved on to detailed evaluation.
  • Selected applicants signed a financial assistance agreement before funding was paid.
  • RECYC-QUÉBEC could adjust, withhold, or cancel payments if required deliverables were not satisfactory.
