- Organizations mandated to provide human and community services
- Organizations incorporated as a not-for-profit for a minimum of 2 years

- Programs where the federal or provincial government has the primary responsibility for funding, including hospital-based health programs, medical research, arts and cultural programs, formal education and training, and settlement and English language instruction programs

- Mandatory employment-related costs and employee benefit plans for eligible core operating positions
- Occupancy costs, including administrative and office space, utilities, hydro and water, internet and telephone bills, and office supplies
- Legal services pertaining only to the core operations and management of the organization
- Financial audit fees
- Insurance

- Attach the mandatory documents in GovGrants
- Update the Service Provider Profile, including the Equity section, Operations tab, and Authorized Members form
- Submit the application through GovGrants on or before September 21, 2023, by 5 p.m.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications that meet the general eligibility requirements are reviewed by a Fund Review Committee
- The financial assessment is completed by the Regional Finance Team
- All applicants are notified whether their application is approved or declined for funding
- If approved, the email notification includes the confirmed award funding amount
- Further information is provided to sign the contract and activate the award
- Annual financial reconciliation reports and progress reports are required for each funding year
