- Operational costs such as insurance, audit fees, lease and occupancy costs, legal services for core operations, utilities, internet, and telephone

How to apply
- Step 1: Register on GovGrants and update the Service Provider Profile
- Create or update the organization profile on the Region of Peel's GovGrants platform.
- Ensure the profile is completed by the application deadline.
- Step 2: Prepare the application package
- Complete the application form.
- Complete the budget request template.
- Complete the workplan template if applying for core operating positions.
- Step 3: Upload mandatory documents
- Upload the required documents in GovGrants.
- Ensure financial documents and insurance are included.
- Step 4: Submit the application
- Send the completed application to cip@peelregion.ca.
- Submit before the deadline to be considered.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are first checked for eligibility
- Eligible applications are reviewed by two Fund Review Committee members
- Financial statements are assessed by the Region of Peel's Finance team
- Some applicants may be invited to an in-person interview assessment
- Applicants are notified by email and successful applicants receive next-step instructions to sign the contract and activate the award

- The fund is unrestricted for 2024.
- Successful applicants may need to submit progress and financial reconciliation reports.
- Funding decisions are communicated by email.
- Applicants using a fiscal sponsor must have both organizations registered on GovGrants.
