  • Facility renovation, maintenance, and repairs

  • Computer hardware, networking, and electronic equipment
  • Time-limited software subscriptions and SaaS tools
  • Income tax preparation

How to apply

  • Step 1: Register in GovGrants
    • Create or access your account in the GovGrants platform.
    • Complete the Registration and Service Provider Profile first.
  • Step 2: Prepare the application
    • Update organizational information in GovGrants.
    • Upload the required supporting documents.
    • Complete the application form, budget request, and KPIs.
  • Step 3: Submit online
    • Submit the full application through GovGrants.
  • Step 4: Await decision
    • The Region of Peel reviews the application and notifies applicants of the result.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by a Fund Review Committee.
  • Applications are assessed against program criteria and objectives.
  • Applicants are notified whether they are approved or declined.
  • A funding agreement governs reporting and reconciliation requirements.

Additional information

  • Funding recipients must submit mid-term and final reports.
  • Supporting documentation must be kept for seven years.
  • The Region may request receipts, invoices, and proof of purchase.
  • Funding recognition materials may be provided upon request.
