Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • People who work for the project proponent
  • Another level of government, other than an Indigenous government

  • Travel and incidentals
  • Honoraria for chiefs or elders, or holders of Indigenous traditional knowledge and/or community knowledge

Selection criteria

  • Completeness and relevance of each request
  • Total amount of PFP funding available for each project-specific opportunity
  • Admissibility of the proposed activities

  • Complete the project-specific PFP application form
  • If you are providing personal information about professional services, return the completed consent form for PFP applicant – Third-party personal information to the PFP administrator by email at cnsc.pfp.ccsn@canada.ca or by fax at 613-995-5086, along with the PFP funding application form

Processing and Agreement

  • The independent Funding Review Committee reviews applications and makes recommendations on the award of PFP funding
  • The CNSC makes the final funding decision
  • If funding is approved, the recipient signs a contribution agreement
  • Eligible activities may begin once both parties have signed the agreement
  • Funding is disbursed only when the recipient has met the agreement objectives and submitted a final financial report
