How to apply

  • Consult the PFP funding opportunities to learn more about the project description and access the project-specific application form.
  • Complete the project-specific PFP application form.
  • Submit the form by email or mail to the Participant Funding Program Administrator.

Processing and Agreement

  • The PFP administrator will acknowledge receipt of the application within one business day and start the review and approval process.
  • An independent funding review committee will review the application and recommend approval or refusal, including the amount and any objectives to be met.
  • The CNSC will notify applicants of the final decision within 25 business days of the closing date.
  • Successful applicants receive a contribution agreement, and funding payments are issued after the objectives are met, the final financial report is submitted, and the recipient survey is completed.
  • Payment is made within 30 days of receipt of a valid final financial report.

Additional information

  • Funding applicants will be informed of the outcome within 45 business days of the application closing date, or after receipt if there is no closing date.
  • Recipients are strongly advised to keep all receipts for at least three years in case of audit.
