How to apply

  • Step 1: Access the application form
    • Consult the funding opportunity page.
    • Open the project-specific participant funding application form.
  • Step 2: Complete the form
    • Follow the instructions in the form’s nine sections.
    • Ensure the application meets the criteria in the PFP Guide.
  • Step 3: Submit the form
    • Review, sign, and date the form.
    • Submit it by email, mail, or fax to the CNSC PFP Administrator.
    • Keep a copy for your records.

Processing and Agreement

  • The CNSC may reduce or terminate participant funding with 30 days written notice.
  • If the recipient does not meet its obligations without first notifying the CNSC and negotiating modified terms, the hold-back amount is not paid and future CNSC participant funding may be denied.
  • Recipients should keep receipts for at least 3 years after receiving funding, and receipts are not to be submitted unless requested by the CNSC.
  • Any dispute related to the agreement must be settled in good faith through alternate dispute resolution mechanisms.

Additional information

  • The CNSC may publish the recipient’s name, the amount of the contribution and the type of activities funded under the contribution agreement.
  • Information provided to the CNSC in the context of the project under review may become part of the public record, including the record of Proceedings and the reasons for decisions made by the Commission.
