Eligibility criteria
The PARTENAR-IA | ACADÉMIQUE program aims to support research centers and Quebec companies, especially SMEs and startups, in developing and commercializing or adopting AI technologies. Eligibility criteria include:
- Universities, colleges, public research centers, and CCTTs can apply.
- Partners must be legally constituted under federal or Quebec laws and registered with the Quebec Business Registry.
- PMEs and at least one large enterprise are eligible.
Who is eligible
Eligible types of companies for this grant include:
- Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
- Startups
- Public research centers
- Corporations
Eligible expenses
The grant covers eligible expenses related to projects focusing on innovation in artificial intelligence. Eligible expenses may include but are not limited to:
- Costs directly related to research and development activities
- Personnel costs
- Cost of equipment and materials
- Other project-specific expenses
Eligible projects & activities
Projects or activities eligible for this grant include collaborative innovation projects involving public research centers and Quebec companies to develop and commercialize AI technologies. Evaluation & selection criteria
There are evaluation and selection criteria for this grant. The criteria are as follows:
