Who is eligible?

  • Permanent interior leasehold improvements and small-space conversions

  • Flood risk reduction measures and tree planting or care

How to apply

  • Step 1: Review program requirements
    • Check the Community Improvement Plan for the relevant grant program.
    • Confirm whether the property and proposed work are eligible.
  • Step 2: Prepare the application
    • Complete the application form.
    • Gather supporting documents, photos, drawings, and contractor estimates.
    • Obtain the owner authorization form if the applicant is not the property owner.
  • Step 3: Submit the application
    • Email the complete application package and supporting documents to belinda@town.minto.on.ca.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by the Town and may be considered by Council for approval.
  • Approval is discretionary and may depend on project feasibility.
  • A signed agreement is required before grant funds are paid.
  • Funds are paid only after the project is completed as approved.
  • The Town may inspect and monitor the project during review and implementation.
