Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a First Nation, Metis Settlement, or a non-profit organization registered and in good standing for more than 2 years under specific provincial or federal legislation.
  • The project must involve hosting a world class national or international sport event in Alberta that complies with National or International Federations' rules and standards.
  • The applicant may submit applications for multiple events, with each event submitted separately.
  • The applicant must not have overdue or incomplete accounting or reporting related to any previous Alberta government grant.
