- Not-for-profit organizations, local development associations, municipalities, provincial governments, economic development associations, post-secondary and educational institutions, Indigenous bands and organizations, Crown corporations, businesses, and industry and sector associations.

This fund supports recovery efforts aimed at rebuilding and restoring the economic livelihoods of communities affected by Hurricane Fiona. The eligible activities focus on infrastructure repair, protection of marine wildlife, and ensuring navigational safety.

- Fill out the application form, save it, and collect and prepare all supporting documents.
- To submit the application online, return to the Application for financial assistance page and use the “Ready to submit online” button.
- To submit a paper application, print it and mail it along with all supporting documents to one of the ACOA regional offices in your province.
- Keep a copy of the completed and signed application for your records.
Processing and Agreement
- Funding would go out once applications had been received, assessed and approved.
- Once ACOA received an application, it assigned a program officer to the file.
- The designated officer would communicate with the applicant if information was missing and regarding funding decisions.
- ACOA was committed to informing applicants of funding decisions as soon as possible.
