There are evaluation and selection criteria for the Export Funding New Brunswick Program:
- Applicants must demonstrate an increase in revenue, profit, or workforce in the past two years and that the proposed activity will improve export performance.
- Applications demonstrating the highest potential for economic impact to the province will be given priority.

- Step 1: Complete the online application form, demonstrating compliance with the program's objective and guidelines
- Step 2: Once the application form, consultant proposal(s), and supporting documents are submitted, await evaluation outcome
- Step 3: If approved, a contract will be issued between LearnSphere and the company for the project
- Step 4: Select the consultant(s) to work with, ensuring their fees are at fair market value and satisfactory work is completed
- Step 5: Cash flow 100% of project costs and submit a claim for reimbursement after completing the project
