Who is eligible?
- A business or organization located in Québec, accompanied or not by its partner (e.g., a supplier).
- A partner, i.e., a company that submits a project on behalf of a customer who has mandated it for this purpose.
- An aggregator, i.e., a company that submits a project on behalf of their customers.
Eligible expenses
- Eligible costs, including in-house labour, of an energy analysis.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Lighting-only energy efficiency measures.
- Electric resistance heating equipment, such as baseboards, boilers, or heating coils, when the analysis focuses mainly on these measures.
- Behavior-based energy efficiency measures when the analysis focuses mainly on them.
- Projects, concepts, or processes that were already analyzed and submitted to Hydro-Québec within the last five years, or already presented to the participant in the same call for projects.
- Projects focused mainly on business development, certification or energy-performance demonstration, HVAC recommissioning diagnostics, compressed-air system audits, fossil-fuel generators or added loads on existing generators, fossil-fuel heating equipment as a demand response measure, or non-eligible self-generation measures.

- Exclusion of measures solely related to lighting or resistive electric heating equipment.

- Use the self-assessment tool to see if your proposal meets the program’s main terms and conditions.
- Download and fill out the energy analysis proposal form.
- Send it to the email address indicated on the form.
Processing and Agreement
- Hydro-Québec will evaluate your request and determine whether your project is approved.
- Once you’ve carried out the energy analysis, send us the report so we can confirm its compliance.
- The first instalment is paid once the report is confirmed compliant.
- The second instalment is paid once you’ve implemented at least one of the measures included in your analysis and compliant with the program requirements.
