  • Application preparation, fundraising, ceremonies, and related planning activities
  • Standalone feasibility, needs assessment, and planning drawings
  • Debt reduction, interest, financing charges, and leasing costs
  • Administrative, operational, volunteer, and miscellaneous costs

  • Expression of Interest is reviewed first to determine eligibility and readiness
  • Only eligible projects are invited to submit a full application

Additional information

  • Only one capital project application per year is allowed through CFEP Large, CFEP Small, or CIP Project-Based.
  • Successful recipients must keep records for seven years after file closure.
  • Recipients must use the Government of Alberta acknowledgment requirements outlined in the grant agreement.
  • Approval does not create a long-term funding commitment for future projects.
