- Step 1: Meet with a CDEM professional to discuss entrepreneurial skills and assess the feasibility of your business plan.
- Step 2: Develop a viable business project and ensure eligibility criteria are met, including being unemployed and receiving employment insurance benefits.
- Step 3: Present the business plan and secure funding for the start-up phase of the project.
- Step 4: Receive training for starting and managing the business, along with start-up and follow-up counseling on the business plan.
- Step 5: Attend monthly meetings organized by CDEM for networking and idea exchange.
