Overview of the CDEM — Training program

Access business start-up training, export and import workstops, as well as a variety of business management skills workshops.

Eligible projects & activities

This grant offers training to new business owners and operators, providing essential knowledge and skills to start and manage a business effectively. The training covers various aspects of business management, tax management, marketing, and more.
  • Participate in a three-day business planning workshop to understand the benefits and challenges of starting a business.
  • Learn about different business structures and resources available for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
  • Gain knowledge in provincial and federal tax management and accounting practices.
  • Develop skills in bookkeeping and financial statement preparation.
  • Explore marketing, sales strategies, promotion, and advertising techniques.
  • Understand sales and distribution processes.
