Overview
If your licensed company is part of Ontario's precision metalworking sector, you could get a nonrepayable contribution of up to $5000 per placement to help subsidize the wages of new hires or the upskilling of existing employees.
Financing terms and conditions

Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for employers interested in the Career-Ready with CTMA: Expanding Opportunities program are outlined below:
- Employers must have a candidate ready before applying for the grant.
- Employers should have identified a job title and an associated job description for the candidate.
- Employers are required to follow industry-specific Technical Learning Outcomes (TLOs) during the work placements.
- Employers must allow monitoring visits during the work placements.
- Each candidate must be paid at least the minimum wage for the duration of the work placement.
