What is Première Ovation?

Première Ovation is an initiative launched in 2008 by the City of Quebec to support the early careers of young artists. Its goal is to help emerging talents access the resources they need to create, perform, and gain professional experience in various artistic disciplines.

Financial Support and Opportunities

The program offers different forms of financial aid, such as writing or creation grants, mentoring, and professional development. Every year, both the City of Quebec and partner organizations invite emerging artists and cultural institutions to submit their proposals.
