Loyalist Township plays a vital role in supporting community organizations through its Community Grants program. The Township has entered into Community Benefit Agreements with Windlectric Inc. (since 2015) and Kingston Solar GP Inc. (since 2014), which provide annual base contributions for community funding. These agreements stipulate how funding must be allocated and maintain a designated reserve fund.
