The Future Generations Foundation (FG Foundation) is a First Nations-led charitable foundation established in 1975 that provides funding to First Nations individuals and organizations across Canada. The foundation supports education, healing, language preservation, cultural revitalization, and reconciliation initiatives through multiple grant programs including Individual Funding, Organization Funding, and the Continuing Their Journey Program. Since 2015, over $130 million has been granted to support First Nations communities coast to coast to coast. View Future Generations Foundation's website for more information.

The Future Generations Foundation serves as a key funding intermediary for First Nations communities in Canada, stemming from its role as steward of the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement (IRSSA) residual funds. The foundation allocates resources to support healing, education, culture, and reconciliation initiatives led by and for First Nations peoples.
The foundation administers three main funding streams:
The foundation publishes annual reports and audited financial statements dating back to 2015, with regional impact reports demonstrating fund distribution across all provinces and territories. A Board of Trustees comprising First Nations representatives from across Canada provides governance oversight.
