Funding rules updated for individual applications
The Application Help & FAQs page now says communities and organizations are no longer limited to two funding agreements within a ten-year period, and the court-imposed annual caps of $200,000 for regional projects and $400,000 for national projects have been removed. It also says funding is now exclusively dedicated to First Nations beneficiaries and that the dedicated Métis funding stream has concluded. The page also notes that application requirements or processes may be updated and communicated in advance of future funding calls.

How to apply
- Visit the application page and open the Individual Applications section
- Sign in or create a Survey Monkey Apply account and confirm it by email
- Update the Eligibility Profile, select Individual, and save the profile to generate the application
- Complete the required tasks in the application portal
- Submit the completed application online through the portal
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are screened to confirm deadline compliance, completeness, and eligibility
- Complete applications are reviewed by the Selection Committee
- The Board of Trustees makes the final funding decision
- Applicants are notified by email
- Successful applicants must provide required reporting documents
