The VQA Wine Support Program materials now reflect the 2026-27 program year. The application deadline is October 8, 2026, monthly LCBO reporting is required through April 2027, and final reporting for all sales is due April 20, 2027. The updated guidelines also narrow and redefine eligible VQA wine by sales channel, specify that applicants must be active producers of VQA wine, and direct applicants to the LCBO financial-reporting instructions. Payment calculations now distinguish sales not from an on-site winery retail store from on-site winery retail store sales, while quarterly payment timing remains the program structure.

Eligibility
Who is eligible?
- Legal entities that are sole proprietors, corporations, partnerships or unincorporated associations.
- Licensed Wineries.
- Corporations that have a controlling interest in one or more Affiliated Licensed Wineries.
- Only one Licensed Winery of a group of Affiliated Licensed Wineries may apply in a Funding Year.
Who is not eligible
- Non-licensed wineries
- Businesses without VQA wine sales in Ontario
- More than one affiliated licensed winery from the same group in the same funding year

Selection criteria
- Program eligibility requirements are met.
- Application is complete and submitted on time.
- Required supporting information is provided when requested.
- Funding may be prorated if demand exceeds available funds.
How to apply
- Agricorp will send application forms to each prospective Applicant with the Applicant’s VQA Wine Sales Data.
- Submit the completed application form to vqa@agricorp.com by October 8, 2026 at 11:59 pm EDT.
Processing and Agreement
- Agricorp reviews the completed application for eligibility and program compliance.
- Incomplete applications may be found ineligible.
- For later quarterly payments, Agricorp may request an attestation to confirm eligibility has not changed.
- If approved, the applicant becomes a recipient and receives quarterly grant payments.
- Agricorp, OMAFA, or their representatives may audit or investigate eligibility and payments.

- The program is discretionary and funding is not guaranteed.
