  • The applicant must have at least one establishment located in Quebec.
  • Eligible applicants include mining exploration companies, their service providers, mining operation companies, horticultural peat operation companies, and non-profit organizations operating in the mining sector.
  • The applicant must not be a government ministry or budgetary organization.
  • The applicant must not be registered in the Register of companies ineligible for public contracts (RENA) or be a subcontractor registered with RENA.
  • The applicant must not have previously failed to meet obligations after being duly reminded in relation to the granting of previous financial aid by a Quebec government ministry or organization.
  • The applicant must not be insolvent, bankrupt, or have made a proposal under bankruptcy or insolvency laws.
  • The applicant must demonstrate high standards of integrity expected from recipients of public funds.
  • The project must be necessary and prior to the implementation of an MCS traceability system.
  • The project must be undertaken in Quebec and completed between January 1, 2024, and March 31, 2026.
  • The applicant must submit a grant application form along with all required documents, such as a detailed project description, budget, schedule, partners, and the expertise of professionals.
